School History
In 2022, inspired by their own experiences with children attending a faith-based school and witnessing how they embraced the culture and religion of others, the founders of Gurukul Academy felt a strong call to action. After consulting with the Hindu community and conducting extensive research, they committed to creating a school where Hindu children could learn about their religion and culture during the school day, moving beyond the limitations of weekend classes.
The next step was how? After researching extensively and seeking out resources to help get the school off the ground, it became clear that trying to do everything on their own would take too long and could lead to frustration. After months of endless but unfruitful research, the founders decided to hire a very experienced private school specialist consulting firm to assist with the process.
A financial plan was developed, and from that, a not-for-profit organization was formed to operate the school in alignment with the vision and mission of the founders.
The target date for opening the school is August 2025, when the vision will become a reality!
